1. Am I eligible to apply to the Internship Program?
You are eligible to apply if you have:
• Completed minimum 18 years of age while accepting the internship
• Must be enrolled in a full time degree/diploma program with a government recognized education
institute.
• The institute where you are enrolled should grant necessary permission for the internship
• Should not have completed the degree/diploma
2. I wish to apply for ‘Internship’ Program. What is the process for the same?
Following are the details of the application process:
Step 1: You need to apply and register to the program on the Jio Careers portal (careers.jio.com)
Step 2: An online assessment test link will be sent on your registered email ID and mobile number as soon as
you apply.
This assessment will take no longer than 5 minutes to complete and can be taken from any laptop, computer or smartphone.
You need to complete this assessment within 48 hours, as it is required in order to
progress your application to the next stage in our selection process.
3. Do I need to submit any mark-sheet or documents from my college before applying for ‘Internship’
Program?
You do not have to submit any mark-sheet or certificate from the college while applying.
The two documents
you need to apply are your College ID and Aadhaar Card.
4. What are the selection criteria for the Internship Program?
Students would be selected for the program on the basis of their responses to an online assessment test.
Please
note that we have limited openings in each project, so students would be given preference on a “first come first serve” basis.
5. Do applications have to be submitted online?
Yes, we only accept applications submitted through Jio Careers portal (careers.jio.com).
6. After I apply, can I make changes to my application?
No, once you have submitted the online application, changes can no longer be made.
7. When will the assessment test be arranged?
The assessment tests will be in online assessment format.
Detailed test details will be sent to you by email and
SMS post registration.
8. What kind of questions will I be asked in the assessment test? How should I prepare?
The assessment test is a 5-minute test having 15 multiple choice questions.
You will be asked to answer a mix of
verbal, arithmetic and general awareness questions.
9. I ran out of time before I could submit my test / I had connectivity issue and couldn’t submit the test. Can I
re-take the assessment?
The test link will be active for 48 hours. However, you will not be able to take the test again in case you weren’t
able to submit in the first attempt.
Hence, please ensure you have good connectivity at the time of taking the
test.
10. How can I find out about the status of my application?
We will send you an email on your registered email address with the status of your application.
Please ensure
the email address you provide during registration is accurate and that the email address is one you access
regularly.
11. Is there any way I can check my assessment score?
We will not be providing individual assessment score.
12. If I am not selected in my first application, can I apply again?
Yes, you may re-apply to a different project even if you are not selected in your first application.
13. Will I be penalized if I am unable to complete my program after attending the induction?
This is a purely voluntary program where the primary objective is to provide you with a great learning experience
and help you develop skills that are highly valued by modern workplaces.
In case you aren’t able to complete
the program, there will be no penalty imposed. However, you won’t be eligible for the certificate of completion.
14. I have received a Welcome mail for Internship Program. What should I do next?
Your Welcome mail will contain a schedule for your reporting day at internship location. Please follow the
instructions in the mail.
15. Will I get paid during this learning program?
No, you won’t get any monetary benefits. However, the greatest value is in what you learn and the experience
you acquire and we will definitely ensure the best of these.
16. Will I be reimbursed for meals and local conveyance?
No, you won’t receive any reimbursements on expenses incurred during the project.
17. Is there any fee for this program?
No, there is no fees charged for this program.
18. Do I get any certificate for this program?
Yes, students are given an internship completion certificate on successful completion at the end of the
internship.
19. Can I showcase this in my CV or LinkedIn profile?
Yes, you are free to highlight your achievement on your public profile if you wish to do so.
